Course Description: A 4-day training courses for System Designers & Maintenance Engineers. This course is designed to allow engineers to design from scratch, modify and add-on to existing SCADA systems, use the system as a fault finding tool and have an appreciation of the potential of systems. Wherever possible we will incorporate your existing system into our course. Objectives: After completing this training program, participants should be able to understand the configuration and lay-out of SCADA system. Course Outline: SCADA System Overview, Typical SCADA System Applications, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) Hardware, RTU System Software, Power RTU Requirement, RTU Local Data Logging Requirement, Communication Protocol, Communication Media, Master Terminal Unit (MTU), Input/Output Server (Driver), Human Machine Interface (HMI), System Redundancy, Real Time/ Historical Trending, Alarm/Event Management, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) & OPC Technology, Historical Database System, Multi Protocol/Multi Brand Instrument, System Integration, Reporting System, Link to Office Applications.

Recommended Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of automation application. What would you get: Course Hand – Out, Lab. Work Manual and Certificate. Course Duration: 4 days (Class and Lab. Work, effective hours). Class Facilities: PLC Systems (Modicon & Allen Bradley) or KingFisher Series 2 operated as RTU, Radio Modems, IEC 61131 Compliant Software, Human Machine Interface (Wonderware InTouch), Input/Output Server and Communication Software, Networked computers, One PC for every participant. Who should attend the Course: This class is ideal for system integrators, system automation operation and maintenance personnel, systems administrators, facility and project engineers and other individuals charged with the responsibility of deploying and/or maintaining SCADA Systems.
